Wintergreen Couch

Wintergreen Couch is a soft, bright green, medium to fine leaf turf. It is a great all-rounder and is commonly used in large commercial jobs. It thrives in full sun but doesn’t tolerate constant shade. It is a hardy turf that will bounce back quickly from stresses such as drought and constant wear.

Wintergreen is a very durable grass suiting household lawns, high traffic public areas like footpaths, parks and sporting fields. Weed control may be necessary throughout the year. Use broadleaf spray to control bindi, clover and other weeds to ensure a perfect lawn all year round. Wintergreen will require a weekly mow in the warmer months, but less frequent mowing throughout winter. It can be mowed short and is dormant throughout the colder months.

It is an extremely hard wearing turf due to its deep root system, but should be avoided or properly maintained in households with allergies.
